From the beginning, the work was about creating the design foundation for a healthcare finance product that was growing fast. The platform started with procurement, then expanded into tools for purchasing, invoices, payments, company cards, supplier portals and analytics. The challenge was making a complex financial product feel simple while the company was still early and the product kept expanding. I joined as the founding designer and 8th employee, working as the solo designer across new product flows, design system maintenance and end-to-end product thinking.

A big part of the complexity came from connecting with older tools that healthcare teams still relied on, like accounting systems. As Faliam expanded into tools like Bill Pay, analytics and supplier portals, the design had to stay flexible enough to grow without feeling fragmented.
